We teach our Water Lessons almost 2 miles upwind, away from the busy Hood River sandbar where other schools teach their water lessons. Teaching the Water Lessons in a boat-access-only area allows us to take advantage of more consistent and steadier wind, tons of room, and less traffic on the water!
Waverunner for all Water Lessons
Cascade Kiteboarding assists ALL water lessons with a lesson-specific jet-ski. It is always included in our Water Lessons.
2-Way Bluetooth Communication & Instruction Helmets
Cascade Kiteboarding uses 2-way communication Bluetooth helmets which allows instructors and students to chat throughout the lesson, greatly increasing the learning curve. This coaching system cuts out communication barriers such as wind, waves, and distance. It also allows our instructors to give instant feedback to the student before, during, and immediately after their actions with the kite or wing and board. You can't achieve that when you're yelling at your student from the shore.
Customized lessons
All of our lessons are customized to the learning curve of the student. Customizing the lesson to the student allows us to identify challenges and strides immediately, constantly working individually with the student to help them progress.
Private & Pretty Private
We teach only private (1 person) intermediate lessons, and both private and semi-private (up to 3 people) beginner lessons.
